Swiss Securities

SWX Europe is the home market of the Swiss Market Index (SMI®) securities and SLI Swiss Leader Index® (SLI®) securities, providing order book trading in Swiss blue-chip securities, former SMI securities and separate lines.

From a regulatory point of view, Swiss securities are listed on SWX Swiss Exchange and admitted to trading on SWX Europe. Swiss blue chip securities listed in the "EU-Compatible" Segment are admitted to trading in the EU Regulated Market Segment, whilst others are admitted to trading in the UK Exchange Regulated Market Segment.

In addition to order book trading, Swiss securities (except separate lines) can be traded off order book and trade reported to SWX Europe by a Trading Member.
